The Metropolis Super Dart League was created in the Fall of 2015, and began with teams from the old Knights of Columbus Dart League of the 1980's and 1990's around the Flatbush area of Brooklyn.  Over the years our teams have played continuously in a number of competitive dart leagues around Brooklyn, and enjoyed some success.  But found the social experience lacking, perhaps due to the competitive nature.

By creating the Metropolis Super Dart League, we hope to emphasize the social aspects of making friends and having fun, while playing darts.

A message from the "Supreme Imperial Dart Leader”

I hope the inaugural season of the Metropolis Dart League has met all teams with a positive experience and that the leagues future is on solid ground. I know some of the teams have been challenged as far as the competition has been concerned but I think the overall experience has been a good one. Remember that this league was formed to have a more pleasant experience playing darts and to get the cutthroat equation removed. We are playing for a single trophy to display in the bar and just a little bragging rights with the main goal of enjoying ourselves and making new friends. With that said I think we accompolished a small part of what we intended. It was also formed to give the neighborhood bars a little business to keep them afloat in these hard economic times. I hope all the teams that played this first season are planning to return for our first “SPRING” season and of course we are reaching out to other teams to hopefully enlarge our small but great league and keep the good times rolling, or “shooting” whichever you prefer. Remember, You have to be invited into the league. We will not accept those teams that wish to bring the cutthroat element into this league to just embarass their competition. "Bragging rights last just one night” Good times are forever!!!!

Your "Supreme Imperial Leader”
